LASER HAIR REMOVAL
THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION TO GETTING RID OF UNWANTED HAIR.
Unlike traditional methods (waxing, shaving, bleaching or using depilatory creams), Diolaze laser hair removal impacts the root of the problem, rather than offering a temporary solution. Traditional methods will require treatment forever, while Diolaze only requires a few sessions.
Most patients immediately notice a significant reduction in hair growth after a few sessions and eventually smooth and hair-free skin.
WHAT IS DIOLAZE?
Diolaze is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. Diolaze has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, making treatments convenient and fast. The combination of efficacy, patient comfort and speed makes Diolaze the leader in laser hair removal.
HOW DOES DIOLAZE WORK?
During laser treatment, a diode laser beam passes through the skin towards hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, which in turn prevents future hair growth.
DOES IT HURT?
Diolaze has a built-in skin cooling surface which is one of the largest for all hair removal devices. This makes treatment more comfortable than other devices, with most patients noting that Diolaze is virtually painless.
WHY DO I NEED MULTIPLE TREATMENTS TO ACHIEVE HAIR REMOVAL?
As with all laser hair removal methods, Diolaze requires a series of treatments. Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage, however, at any given time, your hair is in various stages of growth.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?
With each treatment, hair is reduced and best results are observed after four to six sessions. The number of sessions will differ depending on your hair color, hair type, body area, and skin tone.
WHICH AREAS OF THE BODY CAN BE TREATED?
Diolaze can be safely used on most areas of the body that have unwanted hair. Most commonly treated areas include: bikini, legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin and sideburns.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TREATMENT | DIOLAZE HAIR REMOVAL
It's A Simple Procedure
It can sound complicated but laser hair removal is actually very simple and straightforward! The word laser may sound intimidating but it’s actually just targeting the hair follicle preventing it from growing again. Once the follicle is destroyed it’s gone for good.
The Thicker The Hair, The Better!
If you have dark hair you’ll know how stubborn it can be, but the laser is attracted to the pigment, or colour, in the follicle making it a very effective treatment for those with darker hair.
Don't Mix With Medication
Laser hair removal can be unsuitable when you are on certain medication, so it’s essential that you let us know if you are on medication. Certain antibiotics can be photosensitive so it could be an idea to wait until you have finished the course. In addition, it’s best to stop using skin care containing retinoids and alpha hydroxy acids.
You'll Need A Course Of Treatment
Everyone is different so the number of treatments required will differ, but on average most patients need around 6 to 8. Laser hair removal works better when the hair is actively growing, and different parts of the body grow at different rates.
You Need To Complete A Course
Don’t miss a session, because it’s essential that you complete the amount needed for the best results.
It Doesn't Hurt
Most patients liken it to a scratch or rubber band snapping on the skin. It’s certainly less painful than waxing each month!
Menstruation Won't Matter
If you are on your period, there’s no need to cancel a treatment. It’s important to attend each treatment regardless of your menstrual cycle.
Shave Before Each Appointment
It’s important to shave the treatment area a day before the treatment. This is so that the laser can penetrate the internal root rather than the external hair. Don’t wax, tweeze or bleach any hair a month before the treatment because the root needs to stay intact in order for the laser to destroy the follicle.
Apply SPF After Your Treatment
It’s advisable that you avoid sun exposure after a session, and we don’t recommend having a treatment before or after going on holiday to a hot country. We can advise on the appropriate sun care protection.
It's Better To Buy A Course
We discount a course of treatments to make it more cost effective and to encourage patients to attend a course, giving much better results.
It's Low Risk
Laser hair removal is a safe treatment, but there are some very rare side effects, which we will talk you through before you start your treatment. We usually start on a low setting to make sure you’re comfortable and build up from there.
