Lipocontrast body contouring

What is Lipocontrast?

Lipocontrast is a fat reducing treatment, based on advanced Cryothermal technology.  We are one of the few clinics in the south west to have this advanced machine.  Lipocontrast delivers rapid results by heating, cooling and heating the fat cells, reducing body fat without damage or invasive methods.  30% of the treated fat tissue will be eliminated, and gradually breaks down through the metabolic system.  Approximately 80% of the final result will be visible within 20 days.  Typical daily activities can be resumed straight after treatment, including returning to work and exercise regimes.

How does Lipocontrast Work?

The treatment area is cleansed and an ultrasound gel is applied to the area, the head of the machine is then placed on the treatment area. The initial suction may feel a bit uncomfortable, but will ease within a few minutes and the treatment will cause minimum discomfort thereafter. The treatment takes one hour and you can return to work immediately. (Feel free to bring a book, an ipad or  we can play your music through our speakers)

What results can I expect?

The initial effect produced is almost immediate.  After treatment with the Lipocontrast thermal shock, some fat cells are immediately disabled and will be eliminated within a few days.  Other cells enter into severe apoptosis phase, and will be progressively eliminated within a few weeks.  Depending on the adipose tissue thickness and the desired result, 1-3 sessions will be necessary, with an approximate interval of 4 weeks between each one – much shorter than cryo-lipo alternatives, thus giving quicker results.

Does the machine improve cellulite?

The Lipocontrast machine is able to perform treatments to improve cellulite using a method called Lipolysis.   This is where the fat cell is shrunk through a heat and vacuum suction process.  Areas that can be treated for cellulite are buttocks, thighs, waist/abdomen, arms and calves.  For the best results, we recommend a course of 6 treatments on the desired area twice a week, followed by maintenance.
