I learn about new Dermal filler Treatments
As an advanced aesthetic practitioner, I attend a number of training events each year to maintain my skills and learn what’s new in aesthetic practice. Dermal fillers is an area which is evolving very quickly, as new techniques are allowing us to treat the face in different ways, restoring it’s youthful contours with high cheekbones, pert chins and restored temple area, in addition to the traditional and rightfully popular treatment of nose to cheek lines and downward turning mouths.
Masterclass in Advanced Dermal filler treatment
Last month I had the privilege of attending a filler masterclass by Marie Engman, dermatologist and international trainer for Amalian and speaker at the IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Skin) annual congress 2013. It was a packed day of hands on treatments, refining our use of cannulas for treating tear troughs, contouring faces, sculpting natural looking full mouths, with an emphasis on ensuring these treatments are comfortable and virtually pain free.
My advanced Dermal Filler skills bring facial treatments for my clients
At the end of the day, we were all thrilled with the new skills we’d learnt, and I’ve really enjoyed bringing these back to my clients. I’ve already signed up to do a follow up day with her in February, to consolidate and further build on my facial sculpting skills.
